Mauritius takes pride in the fact that a family of sperm wales has been residing off its shores for many years. Today, the permanent population of the family consists of 17-18 animals.
We can show you the beauty of these magnificent creatures.
The family of whales constantly migrates along the west coast of Mauritius. Sometimes they are quite far from Grand Rivière Noir, and the journey to them may take over an hour across the open ocean.
Very often, our main guests are young travelers and explorers of wildlife. Our boat and crew guarantee our guests a safe and comfortable journey.
The ocean weather is changeable. But our guests are always protected from nature's surprises, whether it be wind, rain, or scorching sun.
Whales often dive to feed just when boats with tourists find them. And then, tourists have to wait in the boats for the moment when the animals resurface. However, for our guests, waiting will not be an unpleasant event. Comfortable bar chairs, bean bags, and an air-conditioned lounge will make the waiting moments a pleasant experience to enjoy the views of Mauritius from the ocean side.
Coffee, tea, and fresh croissants baked on board our boat will always lift the spirits and energy. Fruits and drinks can please not only children but also adults.
And of course, our air-conditioned cabins can always accommodate young ocean explorers in case their daytime nap coincides with our journey hours.
Guests who are afraid of seasickness should take motion sickness remedies in advance. At the same time, the size of our boat significantly reduces the likelihood of unpleasant sensations.
The tour price is indicated for 10 guests over 10 years old. Each additional guest pays EUR 30.

Itinerary
We depart from Grand-Rivière-Noire at 7:00 AM.
Usually, not far from the starting point, we can find and observe dolphins. Dolphins may encounter us further along the way.
Approximately an hour to an hour and a half (depending on the location of the whales), we will find the whales.
The boat will follow the whale family, adhering to the rules established by Mauritian law (not crossing the animals' paths, keeping a distance of at least 50 meters from the whales). Our team treats the marine inhabitants with care. Moreover, throughout the time we follow the whales, our captain will provide guests with unforgettable moments of observing them in all their glory.
The boat returns to Grand-Rivière-Noire at 1:00 PM.
